Failing to Deport Illegal Immigrants Has Grave Consequences
Just in case you missed it, the House Judiciary Committee released a report on Tuesday showing that illegal immigrants released from custody after the government declined to deport them committed 19 murders, three attempted murders, and 142 sex crimes between 2008 and 2011. They also found all in all nearly sixteen percent of the 47,000, or just over 7,500, illegals the administration was told of but did not deport were charged with other various crimes. That there is a pretty high rate of criminalism. But still, who would expect people who are just breaking the law of the United States of America to make a better life for themselves to really be criminals? Thy are just here to build a better life right?
Well, first you must accept the fact that 100% of illegal immigrants are committing the crime of illegally entering the country. It is called illegal immigration for a reason and it doesn’t matter how you spin it, undocumented worker, etc. it is technically a crime and those breaking it are technically criminals. So with that in mind, is it such a big stretch that those illegally entering the country commit crimes at over five times the rate of American citizens. Yes, five times the rate. The census bureau holds that 6.7 million Americans are either in jail, on parole or probation. That works out to be roughly 3.1% of the American population. Yet, sixteen percent of those released by the government for whatever reason was trumped-up to let them back out on the streets went on to commit and get arrested for crimes that far exceeded the reason they were picked up for deportation in the first place.
Your bleeding heart liberals and other pinkos would have us open the border to all people everywhere to just come flooding on into the country, but what kind of element would that bring with it? I mean if sixteen percent of the people we deem safe to release back into our society even though they already have no place here and have been proven to have entered the country illegally go on to commit murders and sex crimes, what element of people are getting away with crimes and what kind of people are going to come into the country when everything is so much easier and the prosecution chances are so low.
America needs to wake up. We are all for legal safe immigration, open the flood gates I say and lessen the restrictions that keep hard-working people out of this country. At the same time we need to limit illegal immigration by cutting off welfare, education, and jobs. Those things are for the people in this country who belong here, except for welfare which as a charity should be left to either private entities or local governments. Too many people can’t be bothered with the non-crime crime of illegal immigration, it just isn’t high enough on their list of things. But, when those criminals go on to commit murders and other crimes just as bad, we really need to ask ourselves if these are the kind of “hard-working” people we want in our country.
