Here I am making a late night post. I was hoping that the polling data nationally would move some of the battle ground states into the red column but it does not look like it is going to pan out that way. On the up side, I think I will have plenty of fodder to offer all of you for at least the next four years. I suppose I should be magnanimous, but I won’t be, I am truly disappointed and disheartened that the people wanting a handout outvoted those who want to work hard.
I get it, I do. People want the easy life, they want to plunder what others have so they don’t have to work so hard to get it, and under the current administration they have been able to take and take and take, while others have watched what they have wither away. More food stamps, more unemployment checks, more free cell phones, more, more, more…and we’ll take home less and less. But America isn’t about exceptionalism anymore, it is about mediocrity.
Maybe one of these days we can get to the bottom of Fast and Furious, Benghazi, etc, just not in the next four years.
