Oh holy crap it is just too funny. Wendy Davis the single mom who went from trailer park to Harvard law school, who had nothing and seized the American dream was exposed as a fraud last month. I mean you would know this unless you only watch ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, PBS, or CBS. Okay, so you only watch those networks. Well turns out the Dallas Morning News broke the story that Davis married a man over a decade older than her. He was her second husband. He paid for her college, then cashed a 401K in to send her to Harvard, all while raising her children, one of which was from her first marriage. When the loan was paid off, she divorced him, yet he got the kids and she became a successful corporate lawyer. With the exposure of her rags to riches story exposed as a fraud she has done more to set back the feminist cause by filing for governor than any other thing I can think of in the last decade or two. It is great, but it gets better.
Brandon Wade, the founder and CEO of seekingarrangements.com, a website that matches sugar babies with sugar daddies released a statement endorsing Davis for governor. Hahahahahaha. Okay, and quoted here Wade said, “Wendy Davis is proof that the sugar lifestyle is empowering, it can take a single mom from squalor to scholar, or in this case from the trailer park to Harvard, and a seat in the Senate. The sugar lifestyle creates an opportunity for women to transcend the single mother stereotypes.”
This is just freaking brilliant, on the part of Wade who has just attached himself to one of the nation’s highest profile gold diggers in recent memory who just happens to be a politician. He is going to get a lot of play out of this….guess who else is going to get a lot of play out of this. That is right, the GOP in Texas, because “Texans can stand on their own feet, they have no need for a sugar mama like Davis.” (GOP you can have that one right there ans stick it on a billboard, you don’t even have to give me credit)
Well, if Davis, who never really had a chance to win the governorship before all this broke, doesn’t end up getting elected she could always become the next spokeswoman for seekingarrangements.com. I’m sure they would love to have her on board.
